Chris attended Salisbury University and graduated magna cum laude with a major in accounting. He attended University of Baltimore School of Law and graduated cum laude in December 2013 receiving the degree of Juris Doctorate. In law school, Chris completed the requisite courses to earn a Concentration in Estate Planning. Prior to law school, Chris worked as an accountant for the CPA firm Twilley, Rommel & Stephens, P.A. He has been a Maryland-licensed certified public accountant since 2009. As a CPA, Chris provided a variety of services to clients including preparation of individual and business tax returns; business valuations and appraisals; probate administration; and financial statement compilations, reviews and audits. His accounting background complements many types of legal engagements. Chris is licensed to practice law in all courts within the State of Maryland. He was admitted to the Maryland Bar in June 2014 at the Court of Appeals in Annapolis. He was admitted to the federal Bar at the United States District Court for the District of Maryland in Baltimore, MD in September 2014. Chris is a general practitioner and handles an assortment of cases including: civil litigation, bankruptcy, real estate transactions, business law, document preparation, estates planning, Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, guardianship, and probate administration. In addition to traditional legal services, Chris has established a practice in the field of Elder Law. He provides legal services for the elderly and/or special needs individuals including estate planning, asset protection/wealth preservation, and provides guidance and assistance with qualifying for Medicaid. Chris joined the law firm in 2014 and represents the fifth generation of lawyers in the Robins family. He carries on a long tradition of providing area residents with competent and trusted counsel. Chris is a member of the following organizations: Maryland State Bar Association; Wicomico County Bar Association; and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Chris has served as Treasurer for the Wicomico County Bar Association since 2019. |
